How to Install Blades on Electric Sheep Shears?

There are two main steps to installing blades on electric sheep shears:

Step 1: Installing the Fixed Blade

- Loosen the pressure nut and blade screw, insert the fixed blade, and tighten the blade screw.

- Precautions:

  - Do not install it backward; the side with the brand should face down.

  - The fixed blade should not be installed flush against the bottom; leave about 7mm of space from the cutter head surface.

  - Do not tighten the blade screw too much at first, as it will need to be adjusted later.

Step 2: Installing the Moving Blade

- Loosen the pressure nut, lift the left and right clamps, insert the moving blade, and ensure the four protruding columns press into the four holes on either side of the moving blade. The tip of the teeth should be about 2mm inside from the flat surface of the fixed blade (not counting the concave tooth belly). When moving the blade from side to side, the teeth on both sides must align with the outermost teeth of the fixed blade without any gaps. After installation, move it left and right to check, and then tighten the blade screw. The blade installation is complete.

- Precautions:

  - The side with the brand should face up.

  - The four protruding columns on the clamp must be pressed into the four holes of the moving blade, otherwise, there is a risk of breaking the blade or the blade flying out, which is very dangerous.

Precautions During Use

1. Before connecting to the power source, the shears' control switch must be off.

2. The shears must be started under no load before each use. During shearing, the cutting head of the shears must always maintain a safe distance from all parts of the body.

3. The power cord on the shears should be kept smooth to avoid entanglement with the sheep's body. Turn off the machine when not in use during shearing.

4. In the event of an abnormal situation during shearing, immediately turn off and disconnect the power before inspecting and repairing the shears.

5. Before loosening the pressure nut to reduce pressure, the machine must be turned off and the power disconnected.

6. Do not start the machine before the blades are correctly installed. Before performing maintenance work on the machine, completely disconnect the power source.
